behrotest® Apparatus for the Determination of the Oxygen Consumption Rate in Sludge According to the DIN 38414 - S 6 Method |
 |
Determination of the oxygen consumption rate serves to test the short-term effect of chemicals or waste on an activated sludge.
The behrotest® apparatus for the determination of the O2 consumption rate is capable of simultaneously aerating 12 temperature controlled samples. Temperature control is manintained by a water-circulation pump with thermocontroller. Aeration is accomplished with a membrane pump. A 12 position magnetic stirrer prevents settling of the sludge.
The oxygen electrode has a separate temperature sensor, which guarantees proper temperature compensation.
