External Controller for BOD Magnetic Stirrers
The MRS 4 and MRS 8 external controllers drive respectively up to 4 or 8 behrotest® BOD stirrers within the behrotest® thermostat cabinet. Stirrer spin speed and direction are varied according to program.
Conventional stirrer power supplies would constantly liberate heat within the thermostat cabinet, which burdens the cooling compressor over the long term. The use of the external stirrer controller, which needs no additional power supply, results in a significant reduction of cooling compresssor run-time. Connection between the external controller and internal stirrers is achieved by means of a socket strip within the cabinet.
Consequently, external controller saves electrical power and also leads to increased useful life of the cooling compressor.
