The behrotest® single-sample steam generator has been designed specifically to comply with the requirements of the DIN/DEV analytical procedures for the determination of specific contaminats in water. It is also suitable for use in the determination of alcohol in beverages.
Steam is produced nearly immediately (within 30 sec. at most). The possible duration of steam generation (and thereby the maximum possible distillation duration) is not limited by the size of a water supply container within the steam generator; the user may employ an external water container of any desired volume.
