for the Distillation Step in the DIN 38406 - E 5 Ammonium-nitrogen Analysis and the DIN 38409 - H 16-2 Phenol Index Procedure
The DIN procedure for these analyses requires steam distillation of a large sample volume within a short time. In order to implement the procedure rigorously, especially for the simultaneous analysis of multiple samples, a high performance steam distillation system is required.
The behrotest® five-in-a-line multiple steam generator provides for rapid and gentle distillation of up to five samples. The introduction of steam into the samples provides for particularly uniform distillation and highly reprpduceable recovery rates over the entire analytical range.
