The behrotest® five-output linear steam generator has a central water supply with level control. When combined with the appropriate glassware kit, it is well suited for the distillation phase in the determination of:

  • Phenol index by the DIN 38409 H 16-2 method
  • Ammonium-nitrogen by the DIN 38406 E 5-2 method

Individual Steam Generators

  WE 1/ WE 1/H

The behrotest® individual steam generators are available in two versions: The WE 1 is purely a steam generator, whereas the WE 1/H not only generates steam, but is also provided with the capability to heat the sample vessel.

When used with the corresponding glassware kit, the behrotest® WE steam generators guarantee a particularly gentle and uniform distillation in the determination of:

  • Phenol index by the DIN 38409 H 16-2 method,
  • Ammonium-nitrogen by the DIN 38406 E 5-2 method- 2,
  • Nitrate ion by the DIN 38405 D 9-3 method
  • Steam-volatile acids by the DIN 38409 H-21 method
  • Determination of alcohol in beverages.
