behrotest® Workstations for the Aqua Regia Digestion of Heavy Metal Samples

Workstation Model SMA-ARB

The behrotest® workstation model SMA-ARB is a basic system for simultaneous aqua regia digestion of either 6 or 12 samples for heavy metals analysis.

System Components:

• Precision 6 or 12 sample SMA heating block for round-bottom sample vessels of 41.8 mm dia. Temperature range: 20 - 299°C.
• External mod. ET 2 time/temperature controller (operating range 20 - 450 °C). Time settings: 1 - 999 min. and continuous operation.
• 6 or 12 SR 2 250 ml round-bottom sample vessels with std. taper mouth and PVDF collar
• 6 or 12 SFK 50 Allihn reflux condensers
• 6 or 12 AS 1 absorbtion vessels
• SG/B stainless steel vessel holding frame for 6 or 12 sample vessels
• Support scaffold with cooling water distributor and storage holder for 6 or 12 condensers

The behrotest® SMA-ARM workstations are provided with a programmable microprocessor-controlled time/temp. controller as well as a fume manifold for drawing off the acid vapors. This results in greater convenience and functionality in routine laboratory operations.

• External mod. TRS 200 time/temperature controller (operating range 20 - 399°C). Time settings: 1 -999 min. Continuous display of actual and desired temperatures, interval duration and remaining time. Up to 10 intervals programmable.
• 6 or 12 SR 2 250 ml round-bottom sample vessels with std. taper mouth and PVDF collar
• 6 or 12 SFK 50 Allihn reflux condensers
• 6 or 12 AS 1 absorbtion vessels
• PTFE sleeves for std. taper glass joints
• SG/B stainless steel vessel holding frame for 6 or 12 sample vessels
• TS bench-top stand and transport carrier for vessel holding frame
• Support scaffold with cooling water distributor and storage holder for 6 or 12 condensers
• Mod. AH fume manifold for drawing off the acid vapors in both 6 and 12 sample versions. Connects to scrubber suction unit (i.e. behrosog)

Workstation model SMA-ARE

The behrotest® SMA-ARE workstations are ideal for digestion of "difficult" samples, e.g. those which foam on heating. The programmable time/temp controller allows a sequence of up to 10 time intervals at selectable temperatures to be executed. Moreover, the SMA-ARE workstations include the behrosog acid vapor scrubber and the UK 12/1000 circulating/cooling unit for reflux condenser water.
