COD Reagent Dropping Funnel

The COD reagent dropping funnel is inserted into the mouth of the sample vessel. It simplifies the addition of sulfuric acid to many samples simultaneously. In use, the dropping funnel inserted into the mouth of the sample vessel and then filled with 30 ml of sulfuric acid. An adjustable valve is used to allow the sulfuric acid to flow dropwise into the sample. After the valves on all 12 of the dropping funnels have been once adjusted, the addition of sulfuric acid is quickly accomplished by simply inserting the dropping funnels and filling them with acid; there is no need to waste time in sequential addition, starting the next sample following completion of the previous one.
