behrotest® Equipment for Investigating the Eluability of PAH's and Phenols in Prepared Samples of Road Paving Waste (Vat Procedure)

The behrotest® TRO 30 apparatus for vat-procedure elution studies was developed in cooperation with the German standards working group for elution phenomena.

Salient specific features of the apparatus are as follows:

• The 30 liter vat is made of 3.3 borosilicate glass and is provided with a lid. Withdrawl of eluate is accomplished by means of a stopcock.
• A stable stand, made of sinter-coated sheet steel, provides secure and exact centering of the vat above the magetic stirrer.
• The magnetic stirrer has generous capacity to spare in respect to the 30 liter stirred volume. The rotation speed is continuously adjustable.
• A special glass support framework with a fluoroplastic mesh filter guarantees uniform flow of deionized water over the sample material.

The behrotest® TRO 30 design and materials prevent undesirable entry of foreign substances into the eluate and provide for reliable and exacting investigative results.
