The behr CS 30 HT Analyzer for the Coulometric Determination of Carbon and Sulfur in Solid Samples

behr C 30 IRF

The behr CS 30 HT coulometric analyzer offers a particularly broad analytical range for applications in

  • Environmental analysis
  • Quality control
  • Process control.

Suitable for the determination of

  • the total carbon and elemental carbon contents in silicon carbide by the DIN 51075 procedure,
  • the total carbon in
    - steel and non-ferrous metals
    - cement
    - soil
    - ceramics
    - minerals
    - coal, etc.
  • the TOC in solid samples.

Simple conversion for the determination of sulfur in

The analyzer consists of

  • coal samples,
  • steel and non-ferrous metals
  • ceramics
  • sulfur, etc.

The coulometric method employed by the behr CS 30 HT has a characteristically broad analytical range and consequently is excellently suited to samples having a high carbon content (e.g. carbon in coal).

The analyzer consists of

  • a high temperature furnace (max. 1550 °C),
  • a coulometric titration system
  • Windows software

Optionally available:

  • PC for operating the analyzer and storage of analysis data
  • balance for determining sample weight with automatic data transfer to the PC.

Advantages of the behr CS 30 HT:

  • Simple reconfiguration in switching between sulfur and carbon analyses
  • Versatile in application
