Today's behr Labor-Technik is characterized by our more
than 50 year experience in development, production and sales of laboratory
equipment. Over this period, the small family operated company has grown
dynamically in order to also serve international customers. Our products
enjoy world-wide renown for quality, practicality and reliability.
Our principal activity is in the production of laboratory equipment for environmental and foodstuff analysis. Today, behr is one of Germany's leading names for water, waste-water and sludge analysis equipment. Our product lines range from the cost-effective Kompakt line to fully automated worksatations for performance of analyses according to internationally recognized DIN and ISO procedures.
Our analysis equipment is complemented by our line of behropur® laboratory water purification systems and our line of behroplast® PE and PET containers, bottles and canisters. |

| 1981 | Production start for behrotest® equipment for environmental analytics Expansion of service and custom production capacities by opening of electronic and precision machining shops to meet customer demand |

Expansion of corporate headquarters to its present size
including addition of seminar rooms and a modern applications laboratory.

| 1997 | Opening of a new division dedicated to the development and production of analytical instrumentation with addition of the former Ströhlein R&D team under the direction of Prof. Johannes Kupka. The present behr instrumental line includes a coulometric instrument for AOX, EOX, POX and AOS analysis and another coulometric instrument for carbon, sulfur and TOC determination. |
